Geocache Description:

WELCOME TO THE

HAGGIS SPIRAL

This series of mystery caches takes you on the journey the Haggi have taken from one of their hilly homes to a holiday at the beach.

As you know they have 2 legs shorter than the others. Therefore, no straight-line routes here.

None of the caches are at the published coordinates. You need to do a little bit of work to get the finals.

They consist of puzzles and challenges.

For the puzzles you need to figure something out.

For the challenges, the final will be given but to claim it you will have to prove you meet the challenge. You can sign the log and post a note on the cache page before you log a find if you don’t meet the requirements but beware if you don’t qualify then the haggi are likely to erase it.

There are a variety of caches in this series. Some with long walks and some drive-by. Please be considerate when looking for them and don’t block field entrances etc while parking. Also keep a close eye on children and dogs when near roads and water. Don’t put yourself at risk for a cache.

Finally a bit of “how to be a good cacher”

  • If you can’t sign the logbook don’t log a find
  • Always replace the cache where it was found.
  • If there is a problem with the cache please log an “owners attention log”

(the haggi will then check it out)

  • If you can’t find it log a DNF (the haggi will then check it out)
  • Logbooks do get full and wet. Carry some spares, as we really it like when people replace them.
  • Always remember your pen. Tweezers are good as well.

And now this cache.

Henry and Hank the Yank ( the American Cousin ) were discussing motor cars ( automobiles) as although they prefer the forests, hills and glens, they have both been to towns and seen these metal monsters. Henry has been to Arbroath and knew the connection with Buick,Hank found this car connection a bit hard to believe, but after being shown the proof by Uncle Google, Hank just had to accept it and exclaimed , 'Lord Mr Ford' ! Henry thought this could be a great title for a cache and together they placed one which can be found at N57.34.ABC / W002.0 W.XYZ
