Back to the Beginning - Wellington CITO #32!
We're back! I hate to let the invasives creep back into the areas we've already worked so hard to clear. We're coming back to this corner (where it all started), so that we can pick through any regrowth and stop it from reinvading! Starting here and working our way along the boundaries to east side of the park. Hopefull we can easily pull out/dig out any surviving roots before they start to sprout for the spring! Milder winter has enabled us to continue to haul impressive amounts of Invasive Himalyan Blackberry brambles, English Ivy, English Holly and Spurge Laurel away... We've had 32 CITOs to date here with 309 hours of time donated. And there's still more work (and dates!) to do... With the ever grateful City of Port Coquitlam...
