The Seelye Mansion was built in 1905, and offers a glimpse into early 20th-century luxury and innovation. The Georgian style mansion was designed by Kansas architect, James C. Holland, to be the residence of Dr. and Mrs. A.B. Seelye. Its interiors feature exquisite furnishings, many sourced from the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, and cost more than the $55,000 that was spent building the 11,000-square-foot home. The home features the original Edison light fixtures and Tiffany-style mantel. Visitors even get to bowl on the 1904 Box Ball Alley, which was purchased at the World's Fair.

Named one of the “8 Wonders of Kansas,” the home has been featured on the History Channel’s ‘Mysteries at the Mansion.’ It has ties to Eisenhower himself, who delivered ice to the home as a young boy.
