Geocache Description:

I received this cute geocache container from the North Oakland Meet and Greet (NOMAG) event held in January 2025.  We were celebrating 25 years of Geocaching and 15 years for NOMAG.

This cache is in the vacinity of the Pickleball courts in a Lake Orion Park.

Here's some info regarding Pickleball:

Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum invented pickleball on Bainbridge Island, Washington.

Pickleball gets its name from the "pickle boat" of rowing, a term for a boat made up of leftover rowers.

The game uses equipment from other sports such as badminton, ping pong, and wiffle ball.

So the game was created using leftover equipment from other sports, like the leftover rowers in a pickle boat.
