Welcome to the ONF, The US Forestry Service has a very Agressive control burn policy in this area, they try every three years to keep the area clean to protect the area of Salt Springs from Wild Fires. This means if the area you are in doesn't look freshly burned then it soon will be,While this protects the residents in the area it is a geocache hiders nightmare. This cache is one of those that seems to be their target. So, be carefull what you say and watchful while you search. And remember, keep your observations to yourself.
