Geocache Description:

> At a CITO on Beacon Hill in late March 2023, I had a conversation with trailcrusing3 about hiding caches. I mentioned that my main goal was to place at least one of every "placeable" cache type. This list consists of Traditional, Multi, Mystery, Earth, Letterbox and Wherigo caches, as well as Events and CITOs. At that time, I had placed Traditional, Mystery and Multi caches and was currently writing up my first EarthCache.

> My first EarthCache got published on 5/21/23, bringing me one step closer to my goal.

> I hosted my first Event on 8/30/23, leaving me 3 cache types away from my goal.

> I placed my first Letterbox Hybrid on 1/28/24, leaving me with only a CITO and Wherigo.

> I hosted my first CITO on 7/20/24, leaving me with only one cache type left to place.

> At my Trackable and Coin Sharing event on 7/27/24, NWCats gave me some Wherigo-building advice. I now had all the tools, I just needed to find a good spot.

> A good spot immediately came to mind - Westlake Park in Downtown Seattle. I visited this park on 7/28, but couldn't find a good spot for a cache.

> I mostly forgot about my goal until a few days ago, when I remembered I still had only one cache type left to place.

> 3/9/25 - I hid and built my first Wherigo cache. I have now completed my 2-year-old goal.

Rainier Playfield

The Rainier Playfield is a 9.5 acre park located just off Rainier Ave. in the Columbia City neighborhood. This park features baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and more. There is truly something for everyone at this park, and now there's a reason for cachers to visit as well.

How do Wherigos work? To get the final coordinates for this cache, you first need to download the Wherigo cartridge onto your smartphone, pocket PC, or supported GPS. When you arrive at the posted coordinates, you will be led on a tour of the park. Answer the questions correctly along the way and you will soon have the final coordinates and hint for the cache.

Thanks to NWCats for giving me tips on how to create a good Wherigo. This cache was heavily inspired by some of yours.
