Denne serie af events vil derfor være turist venlige, og vi vil komme rundt til de forskellige letbane stationer i Odense.

This series of events will therefore be tourist friendly, where we will get around to the various tramway stations in Odense.

Palnatokesvej


Palnatokesvej Station er en letbanestation på Odense Letbane, beliggende på Nyborgvej ved krydset med Palnatokesvej og Reventlowsvej i Odense. Stationen åbnede sammen med letbanen 28. maj 2022.

Letbanen ligger i en græsbelægning midt på Nyborgvej. Stationen ligger lidt vest for krydset og består af to spor med hver sin sideliggende perron med adgang via et fodgængerfelt. Placeringen og udformningen er begrænset af, at det er et af de smalleste steder langs letbanen. Det havde blandt andet været tanken at anlægge stationen øst for krydset, men her er der mere trafik til og fra Palnatokesvej og Reventlowsvej. Der var også lagt op til at rive ejendomme ned ved krydset, men det ønskede Odense Kommune ikke af hensyn til beboerne og økonomien. Stationen kom så i stedet til at ligge lidt længere mod vest og med lidt smallere perroner og fortove end ellers. Desuden blev et stykke cykelsti sløjfet til fordel for bredere vejbaner, hvor hastigheden til gengæld er nedsat til 40 km/t.

Omgivelserne udgøres af en række nyere etageejendomme og nogle ældre villaer og lave huse. Desuden ligger Frederiksbroen Plejecenter i området nord for stationen.

Palnatokesvej Station is a tramway station on the Odense Tramway, located on Nyborgvej at the intersection with Palnatokesvej and Reventlowsvej in Odense. The station opened together with the tramway on May 28, 2022.

The tramway is located in a grassy area in the middle of Nyborgvej. The station is located slightly west of the intersection and consists of two tracks with each side platform with access via a pedestrian crossing. The location and design are limited by the fact that it is one of the narrowest places along the tramway. Among other things, the idea had been to build the station east of the intersection, but here there is more traffic to and from Palnatokesvej and Reventlowsvej. There were also plans to demolish properties at the intersection, but Odense Municipality did not want this out of consideration for the residents and the economy. The station was instead located a little further to the west and with slightly narrower platforms and sidewalks than usual. In addition, a section of the cycle path was cut off in favor of wider roadways, where the speed limit has been reduced to 40 km/h.

The surroundings consist of a number of newer apartment buildings and some older villas and low-rise houses. In addition, Frederiksbroen Care Center is located in the area north of the station.
