Geocache Description:

As the name suggest, located on the east bank of the Huangpu River, the East Bund (东岸) is the collective name for the riverside public spaces in Pudong, such as Lujiazui, Dongchang, Laobaidu and so on. It is connected by a walking route, a jogging track, and a cycling track. Greenery, platforms, viewing points and service centers are also arranged along the East Bund. It is a good place for residents and tourists to relax and have fun.

Minsheng Art Wharf (民生艺术码头) , previously Minsheng Wharf, was originally built in the 1890s and was once a specialized wharf for loading and unloading bulk grain and sugar in Shanghai Port. The most tremendous building in the area was an 80,000-ton silo, which was also one of the largest granaries in Asia. In 2017, the 80,000-ton silo was transformed into an art exhibition venue. Minsheng Art Wharf has now been transformed into a comprehensive area integrating culture, art, and leisure, and has become an important venue for the Shanghai Urban Space Art Festival.

The GZ is the crane at the wharf. The magnetic cache (a 5cm tube) is attached in the black box under the yellow lid at the bottom of the crane.

Take the FTF souvenir
