The 5 May 2025 is square root day. This event is being squeezed into a very busy period with Twig's Birthday bash on 30 April (GCB491R), the Block Party in Rotorua on 3 May (GCAKR25) and no doubt Wellywood Wednesday on 7 May. So its an end of the working day gathering for those working in the city or able to get in here later in the day. A chance to show off a relic from the 1960s (I know if you can remember the 1960s you clearly weren't there). Or bring something square to celebrate the occasion, Yes, a custard square or a square beer mat is suitable. Be creative. Join the fun. "Be there or be square."
Event starts at 5pm at Midlands Park and runs to 6pm. Look for a bunch of squares carrying rectangles. If its raining or horrible outside we can shelter over at Lambton Square shopping area across the road. Hopefully I am wrong about the snowmobile!
