The Wacky Wednesday gang are back to our old tricks, and this time we've seen something interesting courtesy of the Geocaching blog:

Everyone is invited to log any geocache, Adventure Lab® Location, or Event on April 16, 2025, to earn the souvenir.
Pajama Day is your official excuse to swap your everyday clothes and stiff jeans for the softest and most fabulous sleepwear you own. Whether you’re a flannel fanatic, onesie enthusiast, or classic matching set kind of person, this is your moment to shine—or snooze!"
So, come join us for a Wacky Wednesday on "Geocaching in your Pajamas Day" as something a little bit bonkers for a mid-week meet-up.
Gildersome is a small village just outside Leeds. There's plenty of geocaches and adventure labs in this place, with a nice variety of caches including in the surrounding green space and woodland. GIldersome is close to a fairly tricky cache, GCA1RB1 "Sam & Zoe Bought A Ladder", which I've looked at longingly from below a couple of times.
- Where: The Gildersome Arms, Gelderd Rd, Gildersome, Leeds, LS27 7LL
- When: Wednesday 16 April at 6:30pm
- By Train: Morley train station is a 40 minute walk away
- By Bus: Buses are available into Gildersome from Leeds, but they may be more difficult to use to get back afterwards
- By Car: The pub has a car park
- Dress code: Pyjamas*
After the event, if we have the equipment, we will try to find that local high-terrain cache nearby, in our pyjamas still, but not until the event has ended. Hope to see you there!
*Pyjamas are optional if you are understandably uncomfortable with this bit. But for a souvenir it's worth it, right?
