Geocache Description:

This cache will take you on a tour of Greenwood, one of New Orleans famous above-ground cemeteries. Be aware that the cemetery closes around 4:30. It seems they now have gates that close. You might get chased out at closing time if on foot.

This is a virtual cache, taking you on a tour of one of New Orleans famous above ground cemeteries. The Greenwood cemetery was built in the early 1800’s on land reclaimed from the swamp. The land was originally a long way from the town on New Orleans down a shell road. With the growth of population, houses soon surrounded it. Now you can park in the cemetery and walk around the old graves. I placed the difficulty at a 2 because you will have to look around to find the graves you need.

For this cache, you will need to find 3 graves and answer questions about the final location.

Lat 29º 59.027

Lat 29º 59.0C
