La cache fa parte della serie Produzioni ininterrotte, progetto di valorizzazione della memoria del lavoro che vi porterà ad immaginare storie del territorio bergamasco ormai scomparse (o quasi) che hanno lasciato delle tracce nascoste
Se vi raccontassi di un’azienda con asilo nido aziendale gratuito per i figli dei dipendenti; con una mensa dove potete ritirare la cena per tutta la vostra famiglia anche al di fuori dei turni di lavoro; che vi fornisce un’abitazione con qualsiasi opera di manutenzione a carico della suddetta azienda; che dispone di assistenza sanitaria con medico e infermiera sempre presenti…
Tutto questo è esistito veramente, proprio a Villa d’Ogna, la cui storia dalla fine dell’800 ha una svolta inaspettata grazie all’insediamento della manifattura Festi Rasini.
Vi trovate proprio nel villaggio Festi Rasini, creato dai due soci e fondatori della manifattura omonima: il conte Giovanni Festi e il sig. Cesare Rasini, che volevano non solo creare lavoro, ma anche benessere per i propri dipendenti.
La manifattura, fondata nel 1889, prosperò e aumentò costantemente la produzione, ma dalla seconda metà del ‘900 la produzione subì un drastico ridimensionamento; negli anni ‘70 del ‘900 i tempi d’oro erano ormai finiti e iniziarono le prime lotte sindacali per opporsi alla chiusura dell’azienda, che poi fallì definitivamente nel 2011.
Se volete immergervi in un passato lontano che però qui alla Festi Rasini è ancora presente, non dovete fare altro che passeggiare per queste stradine, cercare qualche particolare sfuggito alle varie ristrutturazioni entrare nel bar sulla statale e guardare le foto d’epoca esposte all’interno, ma soprattutto parlate con la gente del posto.

What if I told you about a company with a free company nursery for employees' children and a canteen where you can collect dinner for your whole family even after work shifts; a company that provides you with a home with no maintenance work to be done and has healthcare with a doctor and nurse always present…
All this really happened in Villa d'Ogna, whose history took an unexpected turn from the end of the 19th century thanks to the establishment of the Festi Rasini factory.
You are now in the Festi Rasini village, created by the two partners and founders of the factory with the same name: Count Giovanni Festi and Mr. Cesare Rasini, whose aime was not only to create workplaces, but also well-being for their employees.
The factory, founded in 1889, prospered and constantly increased its production; unfortunately from the second half of the 20th century the production dropped drastically; in the 1970s the golden times were over and the first trade union struggles tried to avoid the closure of the company. The company finally went bankrupt in 2011.
If you want to immerse yourself in a distant past which is still present here at Festi Rasini, all you have to do is walk through these streets, look for some details escaped from the various renovations, enter the bar on the main road and look at the vintage photos displayed inside, but above all talk to the locals.
