This is part of a 2025 cache series. The purpose of these caches is to know where your local community emergency hubs (local civil defence centre) are in the event of a disaster.
These hubs always remind our whanau to talk thru emergency plans, update first aid kids, emergency supplies, and reaffirm meeting points. Being prepared for us can make all the difference in an emergency. It's been a great discussion topic within the @marryallthepeople family!
This local hub is located at the local chuch down the main road.
Important infomration before visiting this are: This is part of an industrial area looks like a carpark on a map. It is an area of mechanics and other handy busineses. Stealth will be required in visiting this area and highly recommended to visit outside of 8am-5pm weekdays (unless you're waiting for a WOF!)! The cache is hidden in a small fenced off area in the carpark.
