The Majura Parkway project was a $288 million project, and was the single largest road infrastructure investment ever made in the ACT at the time. The project was jointly funded in 2011 by the Commonwealth and ACT Governments.
The Majura Parkway is 11.5 kilometres of dual carriageway and links with the Monaro Highway near Pialligo. It is a duplicated road with two lanes in each direction and a speed limit of 100 kilometres per hour. Most importantly – there is a wonderful cycleway associated with the road!
This location was the next in the Majura Cycleway series being placed by various cachers. A simple walk by / ride by cache. This cache replaces GC6HKRY by fitzy_1965 which has had it's day.
