Geocache Description:


This is the site of the first state capitol in Missouri. It was used as the state capitol from June 4, 1821 to October 1, 1826. Four governors ran the state's affairs from the second floor of the first state capitol. Governor John Miller oversaw the move to the new capitol in Jefferson City.
