Geocache Description:

There is nothing to be found at, and there is no need to visit, the posted coordinates!

This cache is in the WIG category because you will need some WIG cartridges in the pursuit. It also has some aspects of a mystery or a multi cache. It starts with a simple puzzle that can be done on a couch, but then you will need to embark on a hike! Those who are not familiar with -Waldmeister- RWIG or "day1976's OSRW" cartridges and structures of their respective codes should try some easier hides based on those cartridges first, e.g. OSRW in a tree (GCAYEDB) for the later.

First, solve the provided puzzle that will give you codes for the -Waldmeister- RWIG cartridge. Then let the cartridge to guide you to the first stop. It is actually a nice viewpoint. Look down from there and you will see a location with a potentiall waterfall and a pool of water behind some willow trees, a little over 500' down ahead - see the photo.

Determine its bearing relative to your position at Stop1. Remember the second digit of the bearing, it is your α.

Look around you within a ~30' perimeter. You will find several usuall suspects, but one of the species I am listing here is actually absent:

Carnegiea gigantea
Fouquieria splendens
Neltuma velutina (formerly known as Prosopis velutina)
Parkinsonia florida
Senegalia greggii

β is the second letter of the generic (first) name of the absent species.

γ is the number of characters in the specific (second) name of the absent species minus 2.

δ is the first letter of the specific name of the absent species.

code1: αα7Jβ
code2: γ88Zδ

You will need to replace alpha(s), beta, gamma and delta in order to complete the OSRW codes listed above. Feed the completed codes into the day1976s OSRW cartridge and let it lead you to the cache. The last several hundred feet will require some bushwhack, but the vegetation is not too dense so the terrain should not exceed 3.0 if you choose wisely.

The final is a small tea tin with only a log inside, please bring your own writing stick and sign the log, by hand, one online smiley per one physical signature!

Congratulations to RS Arizona on FTF!
