Geocache Description:

This is one of up to 15 Planet WOW! GeoTour geocaches that will be hidden in places that make us say WOW! across the U.S.

Tinkercast teamed up with Geocaching, the Aspen Institute, and The Nature Conservancy for this GeoTour to inspire kids and families to get outside and experience the WOWs all around them.

Hidden in this cache are trackable trading cards and QR codes that link to a custom Planet WOW! website, where families can:
- Listen to exclusive audio content from Wow in the World hosts
  Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas.
- Track where in the world the Planet WOW! trading cards are
  popping up
- Print their own Planet WOW! cards to place in geocaches.

Welcome to the Arizona-Sonora Desert museum! You will be saying "WOW" a lot as you discover the fabulous flora and fauna peculiar to the Sonoran desert. It's unlike any zoo or museum in the world because most exhibits here are alive and in their own natural environment which you actually walk through! My favorite thing is the raptor demonstration held during the cool time of the year.

The cache is a small plastic lock-&-lock container with lots of great Tinkercast goodies inside.  It is conveniently hidden near the entrance to the facility, but I recommend going into the King's Canyon Trailhead parking lot to begin your safari.  Please bring water, wear LOTS of sunscreen, and look out for desert critters, both in and out of the museum.  Thanks you for visiting the Planet WOW geocache!
