Regionalmuseum Zell am Ziller – Ein lebendiges Stück Geschichte
Das Zillertaler Regionalmuseum hat seinen Ursprung im über 300 Jahre alten Hof „Ental“ aus Schwendau. Dieses historische Bauernhaus wurde sorgfältig abgetragen, nach Zell am Ziller transportiert und dort originalgetreu wieder aufgebaut.
Heute bietet das Museum einen faszinierenden Einblick in das frühere Leben der Zillertaler Bauern. Neben dem Wohnhaus gehören eine Kapelle, ein Wirtschaftsgebäude, ein traditioneller Backofen und ein Stall zur Anlage. Die originalgetreue Einrichtung, darunter eine gemütliche Zirbenholzstube und eine traditionelle Küche, lässt die Vergangenheit lebendig werden.

The Zillertal Regional Museum originates from the over 300-year-old „Ental“ farm from Schwendau. This historic farmhouse was carefully dismantled, transported to Zell am Ziller, and rebuilt true to the original.
Today, the museum offers a fascinating insight into the past life of Zillertal farmers. In addition to the farmhouse, the site includes a chapel, a barn, a traditional bread oven, and a stable. The authentic furnishings, including a cozy pine-wood parlor and a traditional kitchen, bring history to life.
The museum grounds invite you to explore and linger. Perhaps you'll discover not only fascinating history here but also a little treasure inside the grounds... 😉

Zillertalské regionální muzeum pochází z více než 300 let starého statku „Ental“ ze Schwendau. Tento historický statek byl pečlivě rozebrán, převezen do Zell am Ziller a znovu postaven v původní podobě.
Dnes muzeum nabízí fascinující pohled na život farmářů v Zillertalu v minulosti. Kromě obytného domu areál zahrnuje kapli, hospodářskou budovu, tradiční pec na pečení chleba a stáj. Autentické vybavení, včetně útulné světnice z borovicového dřeva a tradiční kuchyně, oživuje historii.
Areál muzea vybízí k prozkoumání a odpočinku. Možná zde neobjevíte jen zajímavou historii, ale i malý poklad... 😉
