Cubert Village Hall is a hive of activity with various clubs and classes being held each week and it has been used as a filming location in the 2025 TV series ‘Playing Nice’ starting James Norton.
First built in the 1950’s it was improved and extended over three decades, and was officially opened in 1981.
The original cache was set up by Fine&Brave, and we are cheekily using their questions so that you can find the numbers needed.
PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK. There is a car park in the village square, a short walk away. You will need to bring your own pen.
As you walk into the Village Hall car park there is a black and white notice on your right about the parking restrictions. A is the number of different languages on the sign.
Now walk across the car park to the entrance to the allotments where you will find a BT pole. Carved into the pole is B followed by the letter L.
Above the carving is a metal disc with the number C.
Now walk out of the carpark and across the road to the telegraph pole. On this pole is a small vertical label with the sixth letter of the alphabet followed by the number DEF.
Checksum: A+B+C+D+E+F = 22

The walk to the final, along a public footpath will give you great views over Penhale dunes towards St Agnes Beacon and, on a clear day, you can see the sea.
