Many people I think may be intimidated by stories of this giant rock and it's strenuous hike, I know I have been. I have yet to make my way up to the summit which I have resolved myself in doing someday, but that day is not today! Haha. For the time being I decided to spend more time in the shadow of this amazing geologic masterpiece. And since there hasn't been much in the way of caches at this level of the park I have decided to take it upon myself to add some. This is my second cache here and the 3rd that I know of at Yonah's base. This is a small metal container in accordance to National forrest guidelines, that is clearly marked as a geocache. It has some small swag for trading.
I hope you enjoy your time in Yonah's shaddow and in the future maybe you will find yourself scaling to the top, as I hope to do.
