The major Severn Bores occur on high tides in the spring and autumn so there will not be a spectacular wave, but there will an incoming tide hopefully creating a visible mini wave.
Don’t fancy riding the wave – how about some waving? For those a little bit less intrepid we will be waving to each other across the Severn Estuary – do bring your binoculars and flags to wave at each other.
Meet at either the headline coordinates, see the parking waypoint for a suggestion on where to park. Or the Eastern meeting point – there is parking very nearby.
We will have a logbook at either side of the Severn.
