Geocache Description:

The Melawati Quartz Ridge is situated north of KL and can be reached from Taman Melawati, about 3 km north of the National Zoo. Follow Jln Ulu Kelang and turn right at Jln Taman Melawati

There are several trails and even the local people do not always know them. The picture on the right shows a map of the region.
The coordinates of the trail head are N 03° 13.923 E 101° 45.008

  • The trail is clear, but often steep, and can be slippery after rain. One part is provided with a fixed rope. The cache consists of a green jar.

  • Have fun, enjoy the views of the reservoir and downtown KL ( the cache is at an altitude of 326 m) and after you return you can take a refreshing swim in the crystal clear water of the river where the trail starts.
