The Coos Bay Public Library mural is painted by local artist Megan Gray and features local flora and fauna. The Confederated Tribes of Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians provided translations of the flora names in the native Hanis language.
Use the mural to get the three digits you will need to open the cache:
1st digit: Number of letters in the Hanis language translation of Blackberry
2nd digit: Number of bees on the mural
3rd digit: Number of different plants identified on the whole mural
Once you have the three digits find the cache inside the library in the Reference section with the call number: 423 NEW 2025
Many thanks to the library staff for granting permission to place this cache. They are aware of the cache and its location. They can provide limited assistance if you have trouble finding the cache. Please be sure to lock the cache when you are finished.
