TIME TO CELEBRATE THE 88!
This is the last county I need to finish my goal of attending an event in all 88 OHIO COUNTIES.
I had not intended to participate in this madness, but somehow I found myself attending a lot of events in the state. Before I realized it, I was sucked into the chaos. It was fun to go camp in state parks for the weekend and hang out around the bonfire, or plan a caching trip in another area of the state. When I realized I had visited a lot of the counties and had made too much progress to just quit, it was game on! Get it done!
At the beginning of March 2025, I broke down and held my first event with an end game in mind of completing all of the counties during the first week of April. Thankfully, I had pockets of counties in each section of the state. So finishing strong was not so difficult.
I want to extend my thanks to all the geocachers that hosted events, gave me encouragement to keep going, and the cachers who said, "Yes, I'll attend because I need that county too" that made this goal possible.
Thanks again everyone, it was an adventure and that is why we love this game.
