Henneger Point is the southern point of Wyalusing State Park. It is named in honor if Rich Henneger a Attorney for the DNR . For 30 years he dedicated his service and legal advice on transactions involving 89% of the total dollars spent on acquiring land for conservation purposes sense 1876.
There is a great view of the Mississippi River near the shelter. At this point you are approximately 500 feet above the river.
