3 tower multi cache:
This is an easy multi-cache, surrounding the 3 towers in shanghai, an iconic symbol of this city. The stages are all public and can be travelled freely and without any obstacles. Have fun finding the cache!
Stage 1:
Shanghai World Financial Center
You are now located near the Shanghai World Financial Center, the building behind is the second tallest in Shanghai, consisting of 101 floors. Its unique building structure as well as its hollow square shape on the top makes the building an iconic symbol of Shanghai.
The first stage leads you to a large gray-colored sign, with a few Chinese and English letters on it, welcoming you to the largest road in shanghai, which is right next to the building.
For this stage, count ONE SIDE of the gray sign. ONLY ONE SIDE of the gray sign!! And count the number of CHINESE letters on the ONE SIDE of this sign, that number is A.
Stage 2:
Shanghai Tower
The 2nd stage leads you near the 3rd tallest building IN THE WORLD; the Shanghai Tower.
Its twisted shape makes the building seem like a huge giant. The building consists of 128 floors and has one of the highest observation decks in the world.
The coordinate of this stage leads you to a tall gray pole, with security cameras. Count the amount of security cameras on that single gray pole. The number of cameras is B.
Stage 3:
Jin Mao Tower:
You are now in the final stage of this multi cache.
The final stage is now near the third and oldest building; Jin Mao tower. It has 88 floors and is constructed all the way back to 1994.
For this stage, there is a large green patch, in the middle of this green patch there is a brown sign with white letters. Count the amount of CHINESE letters in the brown sign.
The number of Chinese letters is C.
FINAL STAGE:
FORMULA: N 31° 14.(B * A + 9)8′ E 121° 30.00(C / 10)′
If you got the coordinates correct, it will lead you to a small public park near the 3 towers.
The cache is a regular sized, brown-colored box, about the size of your two hands combined, and the height is about 1.5 inches thick, and is magnetic. Only flat trackables and gifts can be put inside. The box is placed on top of a large metal beam on a large gray colored pavilion. You might need to use your tippy toes in order to grab the cache (if your height is short).
