Geocache Description:


Come to Great Swamp and visit the heron rookery. Several years ago, we held a Cito event and cleared this area so the Swamp could build the blind.The herons are back and are very active right now mating and nesting. We will meet in the parking area and walk over to the blind to watch the activity. The trail is very muddy so wear rain boots or muck boots or something that you don't mind getting sloppy. See how we helped the Swamp and enjoy the fruits of our labor. Also bring binoculars for the best viewing possibilities.
