Due to unforeseen issues, the date is being changed to the rain date of Saturday April 26, 09-1200. I know more people will be able to attend now 😀
Gigal Cemetery is one of the oldest in Indiana County still being used and it's maintained by volunteers. It's in need of a spring clean-up!
Grab your gloves and garden tools, hand trimmers, branch trimmers, GLOVES, shovels, rakes etc. Bring water and snacks, and dress for the weather. It's a beautiful setting for friends to get-together and do some good for those that came before us (history buffs may be intrigued by the Veterans of SO many wars that reside here)!
If you can't do gardening work, we'll also have people cleaning headstones (Thanks Annette), you can see some results already on the FAG page!
Parking: follow the cemetery road around to the right and park up by the church.
Rain date: if it should call for rain, we'll plan for the following Saturday: 26 Apr 2025, same time. Just watch the postings for updates.
