The Left Bund (杨浦滨江) is the riverside area along the 15.5km waterfront of Huangpu River in Yangpu District. It is known as the birthplace of China's modern industries with the nation's first water, electricity, shipbuilding and textile companies. Many of the industrial buildings, such as the iconic Yangshupu Power Plant, have been preserved during the redevelopment of the riverside region.
The predecessor of Oriental Fisherman's Wharf (东方渔人码头) was the Shanghai Central Aquatic Products Wholesale Market (Shanghai Fish Market) built in 1938. With the riverside development of Yangpu District, this area has shifted from being dominated by manufacture, transportation, warehousing and docks to accommodating modern business and ecological residence.

The GZ is an open waterfront area in the Oriental Fisherman's Wharf. The magnetic cache (a 3cm*3cm box) is attached under the bench in the waterfront area.
