*** CITO at Surfer's End/Second Beach****
***My brother & his wife qualified for the Boston Marathon! Both with 3:01 qualifying times! Woohoo! So we will be touring the New England states. I have hosted CITO's at other states' oldest, nature preserves, parks, islands and also internationally in Canada. Brenton Point was still closed for season when I tried to contact them so our Rhode Island Cito will be a few miles from the Oldie. ***
Objective: Remove any trash from parking area and along the beach. We will have a heavy focus on fishing line strings, straws and other plastics that could end up in the ocean. All trash collected will be disposed of properly.
Provided: Rubber gloves(L) & bags for trash.
What to Bring? Grabber tool and your personal PPE and Cito gear. Closed toe footwear recommended.
Timeframe: Meet at 9:30am at posted coordinates. Depart various ways for clean up duties shortly after .
