Το 2014
έκρυψα για πρώτη
φορά το δικό
μου geocache. Έκτοτε
έχουν προστεθεί
μερικά ακόμη.
Τα περισσότερα
geocache μου από τα πρώτα
χρόνια βρίσκονται
κατά μήκος
πεζοπορικών
διαδρομών. Μερικά
από αυτά θέλουν
κουραστικές
πεζοπορίες.
Εν
τω μεταξύ, έχω
γίνει λίγο
τεμπέλης στο
περπάτημα λόγω
της ηλικίας
μου. Αλλά με
την εφεύρεση
του ηλεκτρονικού
ποδηλάτου, έχω
πλέον ένα μέσο
μεταφοράς που
μου επιτρέπει
να εξερευνώ
τα τοπία του
νησιού της Κρήτης
αρκετά άνετα,
ακόμη και αν είναι
συνεχώς ανηφόρες
και κατηφόρες.
Στην
ανατολική Κρήτη,
έχω ήδη βρει
σχεδόν όλα τα
geocache, μόνο που και
που εμφανίζονται
και καινούργια.
Έτσι, αν θέλω να
συνεχίσω να
διασκεδάζω
με το geocaching εδώ, δεν
έχω άλλη επιλογή
από το να κρύβω
ο ίδιος ένα νέο
κουτί κάθε
τόσο. Έτσι, μου
ήρθε η ιδέα να
αφήνω ένα σημάδι
μυρωδιάς με
ένα νέο δικό μου
geocache από καιρό σε
καιρό στις
ποδηλατικές
μας εκδρομές:
Tradi,
εύκολο να
βρίσκεται σε
ένα όμορφο φυσικό
περιβάλλον,
πάντα 'drive-in' με το
ποδήλατο ή το
αυτοκίνητο.

I hid my own geocache for
the first time in 2014. A few more have been added since then. My
geocaches from the first few years are mostly located along hiking
routes. Some of them are quite challenging.
In the meantime,
I've become a bit lazy about walking due to my age. But with the
invention of the e-bike, I now have a means of transport that allows
me to explore the landscapes of the island of Crete quite
comfortably, even if it's constantly uphill and downhill.
In
eastern Crete, I've already found pretty much all the existing
geocaches, with the occasional new one popping up. So if I want to
continue to have fun geocaching here, I have no choice but to hide a
new one myself every now and then. So I came up with the idea of
leaving a scent mark with a new geocache of my own from time to time
on our cycle tours:
Tradi, easy to get in beautiful natural
surroundings, always drive-in by bike or by car. Have fun!

2014 versteckte ich zum
ersten Mal einen eigenen Geocache. Ein paar weitere sind seither dazu
gekommen. Meine Geocaches der ersten Jahre liegen zumeist entlang von
Wanderrouten. Auch recht anspruchsvolle sind dabei.
Inzwischen
bin ich altersgemäß etwas lauffaul geworden. Doch mit der
Erfindung des e-Bikes steht ein Fortbewegungsmittel zur Verfügung,
mit dem sich die Landschaften der Insel Kreta recht bequem erkunden
lassen, selbst wenn es unablässig bergauf bergab geht.
Im
Osten Kretas sind ziemlich alle vorhandenen Geocaches von mir längst
gefunden worden, nur hin und wieder taucht ein neuer auf. Wenn ich
also hier weiter mit Geocaching meinen Spass haben möchte,
bleibt nichts anderes übrig, als dann und wann selbst eine neue
Dose zu verstecken. So kam ich auf die Idee, auf unseren Radtouren ab
und zu mal mit einem neuen eigenen Geocache eine Duftmarke zu
hinterlassen:
Tradi, einfach zum Mitnehmen in schöner
Natur, immer drive-in by bike oder auch by car. Viel Vergnügen!
