This GZ is the site of a former cache that was muggled and archived. Because it is such a beautiful natural feature, I felt compelled to resurrect it!

Opuntia, commonly known as the Prickly Pear Cactus, is a genus of flowering plants in the cactus family Cactaceae. The term "prickly pear" is often used to describe the juicy, flavorful fruit of the plant. But in Mexico and South America where it is more commonly eaten, the fruit is called "tuna."

When I hid this cache on a Sunday morning, I was able to drive all the way to the GZ. I was treated to quite a show; this Opuntia was exploding with blossoms!
