Ακόντισμα - Το Σπήλαιο
Το Φρούριο Ακόντισμα βρίσκεται σε κοντινή απόσταση από τη Νέα Καρβάλη. Το φρούριο ιδρύθηκε την εποχή των «Μακεδόνων». Ήταν ένα φυλάκιο στα ανατολικότερα σύνορα των πρώιμων μακεδονικών εδαφών. Δεν έχουν γίνει αποκαταστάσεις στο φρούριο. Ωστόσο, υπάρχουν αρκετά υπολείμματα να δει κανείς στον λόφο πάνω από τη Νέα Καρβάλη.
Η ιστορία του φρουρίου είναι μακρά και ταραχώδης. Για να βρείτε αυτό το geocache, θα χρειαστεί να εξοικειωθείτε με την ιστορία του κατά τη διάρκεια του Β 'Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου. Αν και έχει καταστραφεί εδώ και καιρό, το φρούριο βρίσκεται σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία, επιτρέποντας τον έλεγχο τόσο στον όρμο της Νέας Καρβάλης όσο και στον κεντρικό δρόμο που περνά από κάτω.
Τα ερείπια του φρουρίου χρησιμοποιήθηκαν για την κατασκευή χαρακωμάτων, τα οποία φαίνονται καλύτερα στο ανατολικό τμήμα του.
Στην άλλη πλευρά του φρουρίου χτίστηκαν δύο στρογγυλά βάθρα από σκυρόδεμα, πάνω στα οποία υπήρχαν κανόνια μεγάλου διαμετρήματος.
Αυτό το geocache είναι κατάλληλο για περιπετειώδεις geocache που δεν φοβούνται να γίνουν ένας σύγχρονος Indiana Jones!

Εξετάστε προσεκτικά την πλάκα «Αρχαίο Ακόντισμα». Κάντε μια βόλτα στα μονοπάτια του φρουρίου και ανακαλύψτε πού τοποθετήθηκαν τα κανόνια από τον Β' Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο. Υπάρχουν δύο βάθρα.
Η θέση «σου» είναι αυτή στην ανατολική πλευρά. Εκεί σε περιμένει μια σπηλιά.
Η σπηλιά χρησιμοποιήθηκε για την αποθήκευση των πυρομαχικών του κανονιού. Το σπήλαιο ενώνει τα δύο βάθρα. Πρέπει να μπείτε στο ρόλο του Ιντιάνα Τζόουνς και να εξερευνήσετε τη σπηλιά. Φέρτε ένα φακό.
Μπαίνεις από την ανατολική είσοδο. Κατεβαίνετε τις σκάλες και συνεχίζετε μπροστά. Φτάνεις σε κάτι σαν σταυροδρόμι με τρεις στοές. Η πρώτη στοά είναι σφραγισμένη. Στο κάτω μέρος του δεύτερου υπάρχει ένα παρεκκλήσι. Συνεχίζετε προς την άλλη κατεύθυνση μέσα στη σπηλιά.
Στο τέλος του διαδρόμου, σε μια τρύπα στον τοίχο, στο ύψος των ματιών, κρύβεται ο γεωθησαυρός.

Akontisma - The Cave
The fortress of Akontisma is located in the immediate vicinity of Nea Karvali. The fortress was founded during the time of the "Macedonians". It was an outpost on the easternmost border of the early Macedonian territories. No restorations have been carried out on the fortress. However, there are enough remains to be seen on the hill above Nea Karvali.
The history of the fortress is long and turbulent. To find this geocache, you will need to familiarize yourself with its history during World War II. Although long since destroyed, the fortress is located in a very good location, which allows control over both the bay of Nea Karvali and the main road passing under it.
The remains of the fortress were used to make trenches, which are best seen in its eastern part.
On the other side of the fortress, two round concrete pedestals were built, on which there were large-caliber cannons.
This geocache is suitable for brave and adventurous geocachers who are not afraid to become a modern Indiana Jones!

Examine the „Аncient Akontisma“ plate carefully. Take the paths of the fortress and discover where the cannons from World War II were placed. There are two pıedestals.
"Your" place is the one on the east side. There is a cave waiting for you there.
The cave was used to store the cannon ammunition. The cave connects the two pıedestals. You have to take on the role of Indiana Jones and explore the cave. Bring a flashlight.
You enter from the east entrance. Go down the stairs and continue forward. You reach a kind of crossroads with three galleries. The first gallery is closed. At the bottom of the second there is a chapel. Continue in the other direction into the cave.
At the end of the corridor, in a hole in the wall, at eye level, the geotreasure is hidden.
