Growing up on a bowling league, having family that also frequently bowl, as well as currently being on a bowling league with friends (including a fellow ILGCA board member) and family, I've thought about doing more bowling geocaching events for a long while.
I held my first bowling event years ago, at the now defunct Elk Grove Bowl. I even have several bowling items I've made into trackables, such as a bowling pin that I was randomly given back in late 2019/early 2020, and a bowling ball.
I think it's time to start a regular geocaching bowling league (but as stated before, you are not required to bowl).
For this event, we will go to the alley where I grew up bowling at least weekly. We will meet at the restaurant portion of the alley (enter main doors, go to the left), then move on from there to the lanes where you can either watch, or test your bowling skills against other cachers. Either way, it's sure to be a lane-tasiclly good time and right up your alley!
