The tree was planted on Novenber 11th 2004 by a representative of the Jamestown Returned and Services League (RSL), and is a descendant of the original Lone Pine at Gallipoli.
This area of reflection acknowledges the commitment the local RSL has made to the students of Jamestown Community School, helping them reflect upon, appeciate and understand the sacrifice and service of all service personnel.
