גדלתי במעברה בנתניה, ומשם שאפתי תמיד להגשים את חלומי להיות אמן. מאז ילדותי אספתי כל גרוטאה שמצאתי, ומהן יצרתי יצירות קטנות שהובילו אותי למסע של הגשמה.
בגיל 33 התחלתי לצייר ולהעמיק באהבתי לציור, ולאחר כמה שנים התחברתי לברזל וגיליתי עד כמה החומר גמיש ביד היוצר. גם במהלך שירותי הצבאי בקבע מצאתי זמן ליצירה, וקישטתי פינות שונות בבסיס שבו שירתתי.
לאורך השנים יצרתי יצירות מעולם המוזיקה, שנמצא בלבי, וכן יצירות מעולמם של הילדים. היה לי הכבוד לשתף פעולה עם מיטב הפסלים בארץ.
יצירותיי הוצגו בתערוכות ארציות רבות, ביניהן באזור ממילא בירושלים ובערים נוספות ברחבי הארץ. אחת היצירות הבולטות שלי היא "שלישיית הטריו", המוצגת בעיר חדרה – שלושה נגנים המנגנים על כלי נגינה, כמחווה לאהבתי למוזיקה.
החיבור שלי לחומר מאפשר לי להביע רגש ולהפוך אותו לאמנות שמביאה יופי והשראה.
From the Artist Himself:
My name is Daniel Ezra, and I live in Hadera. I grew up in a transit camp in Netanya, and from there, I always aspired to fulfill my dream of becoming an artist. Since childhood, I’ve collected every scrap I could find and turned them into small creations that led me on a journey of realization.
At the age of 33, I began painting and delving deeper into my love for art. A few years later, I connected with metal and discovered how flexible the material can be in the hands of a creator. Even during my military service, I found time for creativity, decorating various corners of the base where I served.
Over the years, I created works inspired by music, which is close to my heart, as well as pieces drawn from the world of children. I had the honor of collaborating with some of the finest sculptors in the country. My works have been showcased in numerous national exhibitions, including in the Mamilla area of Jerusalem and other cities across Israel. One of my prominent creations is "The Trio," displayed in the city of Hadera—three musicians playing instruments, a tribute to my love of music.
My connection with the material allows me to express emotions and turn them into art that brings beauty and inspiration.
