The coordinates for this cache can be sourced by completing the News Stations of the Sacramento Market Adventure Lab. A chunk of the coordinates will be provided after completing each stage. This mystery cache icon and the AL icon are placed near news station property, yet the cache is NOT on news station property. There is no need to step foot on the property at any time. The stages can be done in any order you like. However, for efficiency, it is recommended to END the AL at the icon location as the mystery cache is closest to this location. Please refrain from parking in the parking lot of the news station when arriving to do the AL and find this mystery cache. Parking coordinates have been provided. The cache itself is an easy park and grab as well after you're done. Please use stealth. It is not meant to be difficult, so it should not take a long time of searching. If you cannot find it easily, please note this on the cache page and I will replace.

Did you know the Sacramento television news market consists of 6 different stations? Have you ever seen a news crew out in the wild, or passed by one of the nondescript station buildings? Every news television station is located in one of 210 DMAs (designated market areas) in the United States. Sacramento is considered "Market 20," meaning it is the 20th largest DMA out of the 210.
Note that each station is located on private property, so all the observations needed for the AL questions will be attainable from the public sidewalks out front of the stations. When you go home after this AL & Bonus cache and flip on the news, I hope you now have a little more fun having seen where your local news comes from!
Final note: This Adventure is NOT sponsored by any news organization, and this cache is not to be seen as promotion or endorsement of any local news station, parent company, agency, or network. This Adventure is for educational/sightseeing purposes only.
