Long ago, a trickster known as Glouphrie the Untrusted sought to hide his treasures away from those who might oppose him. Many have tried to outwit Glouphrie, but none have succeeded.
Glouphrie always had an eye for beauty- especially when it came to the colors that paint the sky after a storm. He admired their natural order, from the fiery tones to the cooler hues that follow. But just as our world comes from the palette of an artist, there are other things in the world that Glouphrie loved to arrange- things with edges, angles, and sides.
Cunning and clever, Glouphrie encoded the location of his prize within the very fabric of the natural world, relying on his mastery of shapes and colors to keep it hidden. You, brave adventurer, must unlock the puzzle he left behind and find the cache before it falls back into his devious hands. To uncover them, you must understand how Glouphrie wove both together in his trickery.
EDIT: It seems Glouphrie doesn't take kindly to all these meddling adventurers getting taking off with his treasure. He has decided to rehide it to a less... residential spot. Thankfully it seems he has dropped a scrap of paper with the necessary adjustments.
This cache is dedicated to a video game I used to play as a kid and still follow regularly as an adult: RuneScape. Since the game had many puzzles that had me scratching my head, I figured I'd borrow one puzzle that I thought was really clever and repurpose it for a geocache. While you can find a solution online, I've altered it so people can work it out on their own as I did way back in 2006. Enjoy!
