2025年3月、大横川親水公園の南端に新しい区域が加わりました。
錦糸町南口にはめずらしい綺麗な公園です。
大横川という名前の由来ですが、江戸時代に大川と呼ばれていた隅田川に垂直（縦）に伸びる運河を堅川、横で水平に沿って流れる川を横川と呼んだんだとか。（ソースはタクシーの運転手さん）
キャッシュは新しい公園内に設置しました。

In March 2025, a new section was added to the southern end of Ōyokogawa Shinsui Park.
The name Ōyokogawa comes from an old Edo-era naming system: canals running perpendicular to the Sumida River (then called the Ōkawa, or “big river”) were called Tatekawa (vertical river), while those running parallel were called Yokokawa (horizontal river). (Source: a knowledgeable taxi driver!)
The cache is hidden within the new part of the park.
