Welcome to the South Park Series
This series takes you along the scenic route from Fremont to Salina.
This series can be done in nearly all cars
The first half of the series is along the very quiet SR-72, all caches are on the northbound side, so plan accordingly. The highway has very little traffic. The road does have a decent shoulder for pulling so be smart and safe. About half way through the series the trail heads west along the Old Hwy 10 where caches will be on both sides of the road. Also at cache 200 there is a rest area.
I do allow throw downs but only after FTFs have been claimed, and only if you are certain it is gone.
This series may not be available during winter months, but there are dry years here so it may be open. Here is a LINK to check the UDOT Cameras on the top, if it doesn't show snow, the whole series will be available
Now that you have passed the halfway point cache #200 the rest of the series 201-400 will be along Old Highway 10 from here on out caches will be on both sides of the road. Here is a LINK for the UDOT cameras even though they are on the I-70 they should still give you an idea on weather conditions.
