Geocache Description:

Own efforts only please

Thanks for accepting this challenge that Malpas Wanderer has prepared for you.
20 years of geocaching and never a bear encountered within the exploits.
What of your caching experiences dreams, fears, achievements, how is your prowess in formulating your CV to conquer life's demands.

View a recount of my 20 years as tailpiece and combine it with a virtual tour of the UK

You need to gain information to resolve the final position of my anniversary cache.

N51 2 (2011 + 2013).(2022 - 2017) (2012) (2006 + 2018)

W001 0 (2008 + 2016).(2009 + 2007) (2019 - (2020 + 2023) (2010)

Malpas Wanderer will have completed 20 full years of caching in May 2025

Your task should you accept it is  to virtually visit the pages of 20 caches MW found out of 30,000+ during those 20 years.
In addition you can also virtually visit some randomly selected UK places that if you decipher the information correctly will enable you to seek GCB54T9
Sound too hard or boring then move on to another cache.

The page coordinates are set to an area known as Malpas.
Why select the caching name Malpas Wanderer? At around 2 years of age I wandered there from my village home without any influence or assistance from anyone else.
To conform with cache type visit the page coordinates virtually. Zoom the map to show the two nearest major highways. What you see = 1
Use this as a hint or further your confusion.

The 20 caches were picked reasonably randomly and all were still active when this listing was created. A reason for choosing siad cache might be detailed or there might be a snippet of interest in the log.

https://coord.info/GC64CF A Christmas Eve visit seemed appropriate to match the needs of a travel bug. Guess I left Berkshire quite early that morning.1

https://coord.info/GCGEVX  Many struggle with the pig but I still rejoice in managing it at first choice. Back to the Malpas context I wasn’t so enthusiastic about pigs when my father died when I was aged 22. Feeding squealing pigs at 5am before the day job didn’t suit me so they were soon replaced with goats and sheep.2

https://coord.info/GCM80G A cache that easily made the choice list. I was a little surprised that it was still active as I think it suffered neglect for a while. If you have not done it it might be one to consider.3

https://coord.info/GCGJM6 One I don’t remember so much about but I was supposed to stay stum anyway.4

https://coord.info/GC1MCK9 I must have liked it, I did it over two visits.5

https://coord.info/GC25Q3M  I don’t remember much about this actual cache but do remember meeting the CO who encouraged me to look at his series of caches. Yes there were some great ones amongst the series but unfortunately I think some are archived now.6

https://coord.info/GC25P3D Quite a gamble if I would get to the car park in the van and certainly the hope that it wouldn’t be full. Then quite a walk through the bracken before seeking the den. Latest logs seem to portray it is now a throwdown but if you get a chance still go for this one.7

https://coord.info/GC1DG2V I’ve a mixture of views on earthcaches. They all get marked up for my hit list. Whether I have great confidence in understanding the questions and giving the right answers is often questionable.8

https://coord.info/GC3WYRE Though the challenge allowed up to a week to collect the required caches I set about doing it in one day. Quite some planning and organisation with a longish caching name.9

https://coord.info/GCAA2  Hunted down as it was an early one wanted for the Jasmer grid fill. I’ve been there more times since in connection with wherigos etc. A quiet but eerie place.10

https://coord.info/GCD Fond memories of this one. I think my long log tells most of the story so read all about it there. Could have walked up there again in 2017 but I had chewed my feet up on a long walk the day before so stayed in the RV.11

https://coord.info/GCC67 I think I was the 6th or 7th UK geocacher to go visit this one. Quite an experience. The drive was certainly there that I wanted to seek this one. Only Brit on an organised trip that was part caching and part sightseeing.12

https://coord.info/GCX8YN  Well this is perhaps one where we might have encountered bears but none seen. I’m still amazed that almost 8 years later my name is still the most recent on the online log. Make it an Englishman that is next to log. Get your trip organised.13

https://coord.info/GC7HE1M  This is where I swear I heard a bear but didn’t see it. Or was I hallucinating as it was a very long day, early start, gathering some very low elevations in Death Valley and then out on these dirt tracks after 10pm with a flake or two of snow. My log was a long one so read it for all the details. It was an exceptional day Paul let us eat before coming up here. I think he knew he was fattening me for the bears.14

https://coord.info/GC1E06Q Once again my log likely says things best but it was only later I realised I had chosen the coldest place to sleep and by chance noticed that there were caches here in the morning.15

https://coord.info/GC4RKWT One visited by chance rather than planning one again the log says more.16

https://coord.info/GC4M7HP I don’t always like doing the earthcaches but I do like doing the challenges.17

https://coord.info/GC6EWEJ I chose this one for this list because of where it is placed. A pay to use private road but little internet to arrange or quite a long walk. I took the walk along this nice valley.18

https://coord.info/GC9EXXY I packed this one for the name I think. Do you or other geocachers have nightmares?19

https://coord.info/GC7HMVQ  Well this title summed things up as I got stuck on a hill on a very small lane whilst trying to get to the next cache. The fateful corner with uphill beyond.20
