Geocache Description:

No more pencils no more books, No more teacher's dirty looks yeah!
Out for summer, Out till fall, We might not come back at all
School's out forever, School's out for summer, School's out with fever, School's out completely!

"Alice Cooper 1972"

In 1881 when the school commenced it was classified as a "Provisional School" and 25 children enrolled for the year. The school was opened for only 54 days and the teacher was Mr. William Moore.

The following year, in 1882, the school was reclassified as a "Public School" with an enrolment of 48 pupils and new teacher Mr. William Hayes took over from Mr. Moore.

The Welfare Club and the School Committee made every effort to keep the school well equipped and school fetes held at the Dublin Institute contributed to the fund raising efforts.
