As you walk in and near the Essex County Greenbelt Association property you will come across the remnants of automobiles and like me, wonder how did they get here? Or maybe you won't. Today I found still another and although not an entire car- the chassis frame and several components are there-it's flipped upside down! Certainly not easy. To find this you will need to explore the woods away from the trail. I'm not going to tell you where. Bushwhack.
This cache is within the City of Haverhill Crystal Gorge Conservation Area. but the easiest approach is from the loop trail on Greenbelt property.
Greenbelt acquired land abutting the City property and created a trail that is accessible from and connected to the OLSEN LOOP Trail in Crystal Gorge. From the parking area on Crystal Street head in and take the Olsen Loop Trail west.
Greenbelt's GIS team has created a map of their trail as well as the City's trails in the area. Greenbelt has a FREE app called GreenbeltGo which you can download FOR FREE and it's great! There is cell service in the area. Enjoy the trails.
