Geocache Description:

Second in a series designed to offer a greater challenge than some of our other caches provide. Final location involves a short but challenging hike on an established trail.

ABOVE COORDINATES ARE FALSE. DO NOT GO TO THEM

The cache container is an ammo box with a padlock. In order to open the box and claim a find, it will be necessary for you to discover the combination to the lock. We have provided the names of two cities that are connected by a single route. Each pair of cities will provide one portion of the combination. There are three numbers in the combination, thus, three sets of city pairs. The route numbers are not necessarily in the correct order. You may have to try several possible combinations at the site. To add further challenge, the names of the cities are scrambled. They may or may not be in the same state.

Route A: EPASKNO to VTETEER

Route B: DDICNENPNEEE to ANLABIHN

Route C: RRIUHGBRAS to NNLTEOALW

Once you have determined the route numbers, add all three numbers together and multiply by ten. Subtract your final answer from the decimal portion of both North and West coordinates given above.

The hike to the cache is less than a mile, and involves some elevation gain. There is an established trail until you are within .03 miles from the cache. At this point, there is a faint game trail that will take you to the cache site. There is no need to bushwhack. There may be more than one place to start your hike, but please stay on the established trail system.
