PLEASE DON'T BLOCK ANY GATES WITH CARS when retreiving caches.
Plenty of space for parking off main road.
Eudunda has a vibrant mosaic art scene, with a dedicated Mosaic Trail & Gardens showcasing community-created works. Embraced the tradition of decorating Stobie poles with mosaics, adding vibrant artwork to the town’s streetscape. These mosaics often reflect local history, nature, and community themes, making each pole a unique piece of public art.
The Eudunda community has embraced mosaic art with enthusiasm, seeing it as a way to celebrate local heritage and foster creativity. Residents and artists of all ages have collaborated on projects like the Eudunda Mosaic Trail & Gardens, sharing skills, stories, and laughter along the way.
One notable initiative was the SALA Community Mosaic Project, where locals gathered to create mosaic tiles for a drinking fountain in the Centenary Gardens. The project welcomed participants of all skill levels, including students from Eudunda Area School.
The Eudunda Community Hub and Shed has also been a lively space for mosaic-making, with people tiling various projects, exchanging ideas, and enjoying the social aspect of the craft.
I decided to place a cache at this location as this is where all the creative master pieces are made.
