This is one of my favorite spots to ride to during the summer time! It is a great workout (if you start from the bottom), but the view from here is just awesome. On a clear day you can see Steptoe Butte, Fairchild, Mt. Spokane. You can see it all depending on where you stand. So pick a sunny day for this one. You will want to drive as far up the hill as you can on cement roads. If you are driving on dirt or gravel roads you are on private roads. So please stick to the cement. Once you get as high as you can go you will park right by that gate. There is a sign saying you need to call before entering, that is only if you are driving through the gate and working on the water pump area. Which I don't think none of you will be doing! Anyways walk the gravel road up about .4 miles. If those lovely dogs bark at ya up at the top....they are harmless. They just act tough until they get to you then they are your best friend. So enjoy the view!
