This is The Second cache of the series, and it will hopefully become a part of a GeoArt. Now to the riddle:
Puzzle:
1️⃣ Event 1:
A pivotal battle resulted in the last Anglo-Saxon king falling, and a new ruling elite taking power. French became the language of courts and castles, shifting the island’s identity.
🔹 Hint: The victor's tale was later embroidered in a long visual narrative.
2️⃣ Event 2:
A cryptic diplomatic message offered territorial rewards in exchange for an attack on a common rival. When intercepted, it triggered outrage and brought a new player into a global war.
🔹 Hint: The message promised the return of lands like New Mexico, and its exposure helped pull the U.S. into WWI.
3️⃣ Event 3:
Faced with internal rebellion, a king sealed a written agreement to limit his own power. Though initially ignored, it became a milestone in the evolution of constitutional governance.
🔹 Hint: Drafted under duress by the barons—its spirit lives on in modern law.
4️⃣ Event 4:
A once-mighty city at the crossroads of continents finally fell to new military technology. Its capture dismantled an ancient empire and rerouted global exploration and trade.

1️⃣ אירוע 1:

4️⃣ אירוע 4:
