This is one of up to 15 Planet WOW! GeoTour geocaches that will be hidden in places that make us say WOW! across the U.S.
This reimagined urban park transforms a historic elevated railway into a lush, art-filled walkway that stretches above the bustling streets of Manhattan. Along the path, you might spot a ginormous pigeon! We think we know one of its relatives.
Fun fact: More than 500 species of plants grow along the High Line — many of them native to the New York region!
For this GeoTour, Tinkercast teamed up with Geocaching HQ, the Aspen Institute, and The Nature Conservancy to inspire kids and families to get outside and experience the WOWs all around them!
Hidden in this cache are trackable trading cards and QR codes that link to a custom Planet WOW! website, where families can:
-Listen to exclusive audio content from Wow in the World hosts Guy Raz and Mindy Thomas
-Track where in the world the Planet WOW! trading cards are popping up
-Print their own Planet WOW! cards to place in Geocaches

This cache is hidden on the High Line and not the street. Muggle factor can be pretty high here so please use stealth.
The High Line’s hours vary by season:
December 1 – March 31: 7am to 8pm
April 1 – November 30: 7am to 10pm

The High Line is open daily, with select measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort of our visitors and park staff.Elevators are located at:
• Gansevoort Street and Washington Street (Northwest corner)
• 14th Street and 10th Avenue (Southwest side)
• 23rd Street and 10th Avenue (Southeast side)
• 30th Street and 10th Avenue (Southeast side)
• 31st Street and Dyer Avenue (High Line Moynihan Connector)
While the High Line is accessable by wheelchair reaching the cache might be difficult.
