Some geocaches are inspired by epic hikes, mind-bending puzzles, or breathtaking views. This one? This one is brought to you by sheer panic.
It all started on a perfectly normal day of caching. I parked the car, headed off into the wild (okay, a moderately maintained trail), and was feeling pretty good about life… until I got back to the car and realized my wallet had decided to go rogue. Whether it was trying to claim a cache of its own or just got tired of being sat on, I may never know.
After retracing my steps more times than I’d like to admit and questioning every life choice I’ve ever made, I finally found it—sitting innocently near this very spot, probably trying to trade swag.
So, in honour of my temporarily lost (and dramatically recovered) companion, I present to you: The Wallet Wandered Here. No need to leave any cash or cards—just sign the log and smile knowing a wallet once lived its best life out here.
Note: The logbook is not a wallet. If you find one that is, please check if it’s still emotionally damaged from the ordeal.
Happy caching—and zip those pockets tight!
