Murphy’s Micro – Veterans Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Paddy Yenar: This cache has moved to a new home. There was no longer a need for it to remain in Veterans Park with all the other great cachers there. Thank you to everyone who took the time to look for this cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a film canister hidden in one of Lexington’s neighborhood parks.

THIS CACHE IS GETTING READY TO MOVE TO A NEW HOME

This has to be tied for first as one of Adventure Dog’s most favorite places to play. The park contains a paved & unpaved walking trails, soccer fields, baseball fields, a disc golf course, shelters, and a playground. There is ample parking through out the park.

While Adventure dog was chasing rabbits, a squirrel took her cache. Now the cache is in plane sight, but it is just a little hard to get to the hiding spot. You should be able to see the hiding spot from the parking lot. Please be careful while obtaining the cache. If you slip, you could get very wet.

This area could use a good cache in/trash out.

The cache contains a log sheet and a small pencil. But you may want to bring your own writing instrument just in case.
